Herring Gull day, a total of 94 flew west in an hour with 5 Great Black backs over Mount Tabor.

The Med Gull still has two legs but one of them appears injured. It still had trouble standing using its wings to balance.

Dont know which is the rarer bird at this site the Med or the Herring. I can not remember ever seeing a Herring Gull on the ground here ?
Same at this end with the Herring Gulls Nick, always fly overs but never on the deck. A good count there, yesterday was a real gull moving day.
