Missed out on the White-tailed Plover at Blacktoft due to health reasons, sorry Andy for letting you down. Later on out with DF on the moors and 23 Ravens, 1 Hen, 1 Peregrine, 2 Barnies and 4 Spotted Flycatches.

28th August

Out on the moors again and a roost of 19 Ravens was pretty special, also 2 Barn Owls, 1 Shortie, 1 Little Owl, 1 Buzzard and 5 Kestrels.

25th August

Finally got a few migrants on my local walk with a Whinchat and Wheatear, not much else only one Herring Gull.

23rd August

The Adult Yellow-legged Gull came in to roost again tonight, also 2 Hens, 1 Buzzard, 2 Kestrels, 2 Barn Owls, 7 Ravens and a Spotted Flycatcher.

July 2007 and went to see Steve Vai for the 4th time. First three numbers and I am going what the hell is this? it was something I had never heard before, brilliant, I remember turning to my brother and saying, this must be what they listen to on other plantets.

16th August

The Yellow-legged Gull moulting adult was again on the reservoir shoreline, phone scoped it again using the extender on my Kowa at 96x +. Also today 1 Hen, 4 Buzzards, 4 Ravens, Shortie, Barn and Little Owls, Herring Gull and Spot Fly.

9th and 13th August

9th August on the moors, 2 Hens, 3 Shorties, 2 Barn Owls, 3 Buzzards, 8 Kestrels,GBBGull, Redstart, Spotted Fly and Goosander. 13th August, Yellow-legged Gull, 1 Hen, 7 Buzzards, 8 Kestrels, 9 Ravens, 1 Barn Owl and a Green Woodpecker.

3rd August

Out on the moors with AC. 4 Shorties, 2 Buzzards, 2 Hens, Barn Owl, Spotted Fly and a nice Small Copper Butterfly.

2nd August

Out on the moors again with AC and DF. 6 Shorties, 2 Barn Owls, 2 Buzzards, 10 Kestrels, 2 Hens, Juv Redstart, Wheatear, juv Stonechat, 4 Little Ringed Plovers etc.
