Twite.
Wheatear.
Managed to miss the Grand Horse Slaughtering Competion today (thank god) instead went up Fly Flats and Cold Edge. 9 Twite feeding at Fly Flats feeding station also 2 Goldeneye, 3 Wheatear, 2 Oystercatchers, 1 Redshank, 1 Greylag a few Curlew and an odd Lapwing. Not much at Cold Edge, 2 Oystercatchers, 2 Redshank, 2 Curlew, 7 Greylags, 1 Kestrel and a few Lapwings present. Also possible male Emperor moths flying about or is it a bit too early ?
The colour ringed Twite looks like the same one I had yesterday Nick. I have sent details off to the ringers to find out more details.
